It's time to announce the winners of the 1st Ever MHFAP! Fanart Contest! We have 5 Prizes, and they were all VERY hard to judge. I will post all of these images to my social medias eventually just please bare with me, there's a lot.
First we have a sort of runner up who didn't place but who I wanted to give attention to regardless. BlueMink_8 made this super sweet chocolate covered Harpy for meIt's not the best drawn but I still LOVE it, a lot actually. The fact that is has a unique theme and is not just Tali standing there and has a lot of thought put into it makes it that much better. Blue Mink, I'm excited to watch your art and see how it gets better. You have a TON of potential and I love your entry!

in 4th place, we have Ruperallmighty!!
Out of all the entrants, Ruper probably captured Tali's body type the best. The edge pure edge of thiccness.

2nd place goes to Sarahchibiarts!! I just, her eyes man. her eyes are so pure and everything I try to capture in her. And Sarah, you have some of the best cell-shading I've ever seen and I wish I could fucking hire you as a full time colorist lmao
Lastly, in 1st Place....... surprising not very many of you, I'm sure, is Uswithoutwings! It's not just that Tali is incredibly well rendered, or that the colors pop so damn much, but he went out of his way to incorporate details from the comic that make the piece even better, the fact that she's sitting on top of Hero's space ship from chapter 1 is amazing and such a nice detail!

The problem is the world got a whole lot darker suddenly this last month, and my financial situation is scarier than it was a month ago. So the next contest will be further out than planned, but rest assured, this is not the first and last. Next contest will be Futura!
