I generally try to avoid directly asking my fanbase this when I can- but the last few months have been shittier and shittier and keeping my optimism up has been significantly harder. This is why chapter 6 is taking so long. The femboi comics? Those are things my own fans paid me to draw just so I wouldn't lose my mind having to do mind numbing amounts of unrelated commissions and still get to draw my girls. Paid filler content just to keep me sane, and it makes me feel awful that my fans had to pay me to draw my own ideas, my own characters, just cause of how shit my circumstances are.

I don't think chapter 6 is on track for the end of the month like I initially predicted. Everything just feels scary and I'm constantly afraid that I'm going to keep pushing things back and back and back because I need money.

The problem is the Patreon. I currently only make close to $300 off that, and that's not nearly enough to support two people. So that leads to a saddening amount of commissions which puts me further from ever getting any comic work done. I don't want to add rewards that adds a ton of non-comic work to it, as that's completely besides the point and I'd be in the same situation as I am now. I don't really have any idea how to make the Patreon more appealing. I recently tried exclusive stuff, again, but it's like having so much exclusive content only limits the 20+ places I can post my art down to like, 3. It hurts people finding me so I really don't want to do exclusive content.

I'm just terrified that this is going to be another year where I don't have the funding to continue working on my comic as much as I want to, I mean fuck it's already one and a half months into 2020 and we haven't even started chapter 6 for fuck's sake.

I don't mean to sound entitled or anything but I just get upset thinking about how much I've done, how much harder I work than a lot of other people I know, and I'm just like why haven't I convinced more people that I'm worth supporting? And even worse is like I can't fucking make the content that will convince people to support me if I'm constantly bogged down by other shit. It feels like I'm throwing millions of tiny bottles out to sea and no one is ever finding any of them.

I don't fucking know guys. I need like, actual financial help to make MHFAP! succeed because every single attempt to monetize it has been absolutely unsuccessful. I'll tell you one thing, I'll never quit. I know if you guys could just see the millions of ideas I have in my head for this story- the action, the comedy, the romance, the sex, the twist and turns, if you guys could see inside my head for even a split second you'd all lose your shit and want to help me make all of it a possibility. But I can't show that stuff, which is why it feels pointless at times. I just want people to help me tell my story and to not have constant stress headaches and worry about shit.

I've been incredibly focused on my site lately. It's running better, has more traffic, I've been keeping it up to date on content, is just faster in general, and overall it's just been steady improvement with it. But one thing my site needs is a more active comment section. I want to jumpstart the comments on my site by asking you guys, if anyone is interested in helping me out, to go on my site and start leaving comments wherever you want. There's plenty of pages of comic and art to go through, and I really can't stress enough how much it'd help.

To get into technical reasons why, comments not only boost my traffic but they help with my SEO score and since they give me something to reply to, they doubly help with my SEO score since I can post a comment naturally that way as well. Also on my nav bar, it has a comments thing between the prev and next page buttons. On most pages they all say Comments (0) so no one really scrolls down to read comments if there are none. That's another big reason.

So yeah, if you can do that it would be a tremendous favor to me <3

Hey guys just kinda gonna drop a lot of info on you right now, some really exciting stuff.

First off I know I and Urban have been teasing it here and there but I want to confirm the existence of, as well as details of, the first official MHFAP! Visual Novel, Futura: Fast Charge.
The way I'm doing VNs is pretty different from bigger releases. I like to think of them as micro-novels. MHFAP! VNs are one to two scenes, and while we don't have the full script yet I'd imagine the experience is either slightly under an hour or slightly over. The point is, these'll be fast to make and release.

Even faster than you'd think because the GUI elements have been made in a way so that we can simply swap the colors out for each novel to reflect the starring lady. Blue for Futura, yellow for Tali, red for Rizl, etc.

These novels are fully voice acted- but like 90% of sex VNs out there Hero is going to remain unvoiced. He talks, but to better insert yourself as him I want to always keep him silent.

Another thing is that there are no dialogue choices and no branching paths. And I do not intend on ever making a bigger full scale VN which implements these. Please respect that this is the way I want to do it and that it will make really good short story content while not taking too much away from the actual story I need to be making.

The progress for this VN is pretttttty smooth. I expect it to be done sometime potentially within a month.

I'm making this a big announcement cause this is gonna affect Patreon stuff as well. If you want to see wips, read the scripts, listen to the VA's recordings early, see all the art as it gets made and get the VN for free- that'll all be in the $5 tier. I have a number of things to show you right now, so go on and pledge if you want and I'll post them in our Discord's hidden Patron chat and on Patreon too!

These are sorta going to phase out the making of Erotic Audios, I think. VN's have a much higher appeal and are only slightly harder to make. The cost for them is higher though so pledging will really help that, but since I can sell them at a later date I'm not too worried about it.

A fellow named Wolf is the artist I've hired to do all the lineart and coloring for the VN's. I'll be sketching all the character sprites, sex pics, and BGs and handing them over to him. You'll see his progress thus far if you become a Patron- but I can say everything is looking amazing!

I should mention that you'll get the game as soon as it's done, for free at the $5 tier. Plus you'll probably get to play it even earlier than that as we'll need people to check for typos, bugs, etc.

If anyone was wondering why the first VN is Futura and not Tali, it's because I had written that 500 word mini audio script called Futura fast charge. Originally Urban and I were talking about cutting up the audio and repurposing it, but eventually I scrapped that idea cause she needs to actually be responding to Hero's dialogue. Audio scripts kinda have them monologuing/responding to vague implied dialogue.

We all know Hero's personality- he says some pretty outrageous shit so the script fundamentally changes drastically if he's actually able to talk lol. A lot of the dialogue is carried over somewhat but the beats are different.

So it was like, we had the material, lets get started, nah nvm the material doesn't work lets do this script anyway.

After Futura's VN is done we will move into production for one for Rizl, until finally Tali gets hers as she's the one the most people will be waiting for.

So, by now you guys have seen that I'm working with voice actresses again to produce new Ask Monster Girl Anything shorts. Some of you might have wondered if I'm planning on picking up erotic audio again. My short answer is yes, my longer answer is more complicated so please keep reading!

First of all, these will NOT take any time away from my work on the comic. Don't even worry about that. I will be using my free time where I'm not working on the comic anyway. I need something on the side that's less stressful, as working with voices and editing them has been a very nice change of pace this week. It's helped my motivation to actually get shit done come back as well, which I've been struggling with a bit.

But if you aren't interested in Erotic Audio? I got you covered cause I'm expanding the plans a bit.

Each audio is going to come with like 5-6 exclusive pinups- and I know what you're thinking, that sounds like a lot of work for me. And I wanna tell you it isn't- because they're going to be collabs. Emmy, my good friend and frequent collaborator, is going to be allowing me to use collabs we do for commercial purposes. So I will likely spend 20-40 minutes on a sketch and hand it off to him with instructions on what to do, and it'll come back fully colored and finished and all that.

Now for the people who don't want the audio, or won't go out of your pay to pay for it, you don't have to buy it outright. Instead if you just want all these exclusive pictures that are part of these image packs, I've opened a new $5 tier on my Patreon. This will give you access to any and all future exclusive pinups as well as the audio files themselves as soon as they come out.

I think that's pretty fair, wouldn't you say? What's more, I've released both Erotic Audio files already made, Tali: Mornings with Lovebird, Rizl: I Hate that You Hate, and the image pack MHFAP! SUCC to everyone at the $5 tier. So you'll get a lot of content immediately after signing up/changing your pledge!

Let's get into a tad more detail, because as you all also know I'm looking for voice actresses for MHFAP! OCs as well, mainly for new Ask segments but also for these audios. If the owner wants an audio file, we can strike a deal on it potentially. I'll do my half of those exclusive pinups for free and they'll just pay Emmy's collab fee. Depending on how high the voice actress cost for the script is, I might ask to have the buyer split that. But still, we're likely talking about $300-400 worth of art for potentially half of that, and I'll make up the difference with new Patron support and occasional Gumroad sales.

I'll begin work on the first script of the upcoming Erotic audio later today, and it'll be a pretty simple one. It's titled Levy: Moonlight Masturbation, and I'll leave the details to your imagination. $5 Patrons will get the script out later tonight most likely. Work on the exclusive pinups will start tomorrow!

Realistically, I believe I'll be releasing at least one a month which means one audio and 5-6 pinups, but this could easily be two since the sketches are not much work and as my roster of voice actresses on call grows I could very simply write a script for one girl while another is already recording a separate script, you know?

I've tried multiple Patreon business models before in the past and each one was flawed and hard to keep up on. This one however should be extremely easy for me since all I'll have to do is sketches, and minor audio mixing. Practically no time at all!
